Why Fulcrum?
At its core, business is people and I’m fortunate to work with an amazingly talented group at Fulcrum. Having worked at startups for a dozen years prior to joining, I appreciated Fulcrum’s approach to working with them. From recruiting the right board and team to strategy and culture, the vision Fulcrum shares resonates with me. As one of the partners once shared: build a great business and the outcome will come.
Additionally, I think Fulcrum invests at the most exciting stage of a company’s growth trajectory. Management can feel the pull of their customers driving them to seek outside capital and counsel to support the next phase of growth. There are a lot of unknowns still and key roles that need to be filled. There’s opportunity to expand the product offering or continuum of care and plenty to optimize. No path is a straight line without its challenges but we love rolling up our sleeves and helping.
Outside Fulcrum
Pete is on the Board of Venture Atlanta and a handful of other venture conferences. Through Fulcrum’s support of Goodie Nation, Pete helps diverse founders with strategic advice and tries to connect them with capital partners if they’re not a fit for Fulcrum.
